Stars on Ice (Skate School)

This book was brimming with drama, laughs, romance... and amazing, tense ice-skating scenes where you could almost hear the swish of blades on ice... Sparkling, feel-good fiction...

The text is laugh-out-loud funny, easy to read and the story rattles along at a great pace.

Jane Airhead is a humorous look at teen life and relationships, as seen through the eyes of Jane Eyre enthusiast Charlotte. The use of Jane Eyre references is a great homage to Charlotte Brontë, and has now made me want to check out the book. Wondrous Reads

… a gem of a novel; like all the classics, it’s got misunderstandings, a girl who thinks she’ll never get the interest of a boy, mistaken identity and a dollop of farce.

Ice Princess

Ice Princess (Skate School)

A light, enjoyable read, the new Skate School series holds its own against other entries in the "boarding school" genre. It is sufficiently skating-savvy to appeal to knowledgeable skaters without confusing non-skaters.

With writing as fresh and clean as the ice on which her plucky heroine leaps and twirls to success, Kay Woodward's story ... is a genuine delight, and very much more Noel Streatfeild (Ballet Shoes) than Francine Pascal (Sweet Valley High) ... original, non-clichéd, entertaining, and totally up-to-date. Cool!
